Fashion Showroom Interior Design | Jessica Simpson Handbag Showroom | New York City | Andre Tchelistcheff Architects

The Jessica Simpson handbag showroom, with supporting design studios and offices, is a 5,000 square foot full floor interior build-out in a 1930's structure located in New York City's Garment District. With a flexible, open loft layout, the products are displayed in white lacquer and clear acrylic cases mounted on wheels, which allows the showroom configuration to be modified as needed to best showcase a new season of products. The entry lobby display cases are double walled glass enclosures, which are filled with shattered automobile glass, low technology crystals complementing the Italian chandeliers in the main studio.......more about the showroom

Showroom Interior Design | East End Sawmills | Glasgow | Scotland | NORD

A single storey extension to a sawmill in the east end of Glasgow.
Following a fire, which destroyed the public face of the building, NORD were approached to design a replacement showroom and office.
The single storey timber structure is constructed entirely from material sourced within the adjacent warehouse. The single use of timber as a material not only simplifies the form but also creates an ambiguity between structure and skin, heightening the intensity of the material and product......more

Showroom Design | DuPont | Prague | Mimosa Architects

The design of the showroom in the domicile of the Czech branch of DuPont follows the company´s motto „The Miracles of Science“. DuPont´s materials are not presented as exhibits, but they create the whole interior.
The designed space is separated from the administration building, to which it is set, by a „ribbon“ from Corian, SentryGlas Expressions and Butacite materials. The motive applied to the „ribbon“ – fibres – refers to the subject matter of the majority of DuPont´s products. The motive of the fibres in the larger sense is also understood as a reference to the world of chemical fixations and reactions, to the scientific world of DuPont........more

Showroom Interior Design | CeasarStone | DBA

This showroom project explores the requirements of a partition wall that takes a special threshold position. In a longitudinal gap, it separates the space of a large warehouse into two units and has to meet requirements on several levels: it must, for example, separate the showroom area from the offices, reduce different levels of transparency and seclusion, integrate a reception area and, finally, develop a visual interior that contrasts with how timber framing has so far been interpreted. This versatility is realised by a construction system consisting of a wall made of carefully layered, two-inch-thick, plastic-laminated wooden ribs. The plasticity of this construction meets the different requirements by allowing for the integration of different volumes. At the same time it represents an aesthetically well-thought-out solution.....more

Showroom Interior Design | VERSTEEL | New York City | SPG

This showroom, located in the New York Design Center at 200 Lexington Avenue, is the first NYC venue for Versteel. As one of several showrooms on the same floor, the space was designed to provide visual simplicity and subtly invite curiosity. Schedule and budgetary constraints dictated the creative use of easily installed elements and finishes. Visitors are drawn into the space by a stainless steel and glass wall sheathed in a film which, when seen obliquely, appears translucent, but when viewed directly, appears transparent. Overhead lights and internally lit custom furniture plinths provide points of dramatic focus while a poured acrylic floor coating provides reflective depth to the existing concrete slab......more

Showroom Interior Design | Creative Rec Showroom | Dror

With this challenge, Dror tried to reflect the beauty and essences of Creative Recreation sneakers in the design of the interior space. Sometimes the attraction to an object is in its simplicity, minimalism, and timelessness. Other times, it is the unique quality and detail. This inspired Dror to break the space into two contrasting sides. One gives respect to the minimalist aesthetic, while the other highlights layers, blending of colors, and a rustic style. Those two directions translated into art and design choices, including a pair of commissioned paintings by artist Adam Krueger, that attempt to reflect the beauty and diversity of Creative Recreation sneakers....more

Showroom Design | Noevir USA | Irvine, California | Space International

Nature and technology are merged in this corporate showroom and offices for a Japanese cosmetics line. This ground floor conversion of a concrete tilt up warehouse called for a transformation of the harsh industrial shell to accommodate an elegant lounge setting for the company’s display of natural beauty products. A translucent glass “curtain wall” drapes the interior perimeter, abstracting the “nature” of the industrial landscape beyond through a series of slotted apertures....more

Furniture Showroom Design | Happy Ever After By Tord Boontje for Moroso

Happy Ever After was filled with ideas about nature and technology coming together. The materials like the wool and silk fabrics are cut in such way that they create an organic atmosphere in the space: a space where things are hidden, waiting to be discovered.

Another important inspiration for me is fashion and the way in which we use fabrics on our body. I try to bring some of this sensuality to the designs. In the series of 7 chairs, I designed these as different characters that you might meet in a story; the princess, the pirate, the witch, the prince etc....more

Furniture Showroom Design | The Little Wild Garden of Love By Studio Tord Boontje For Moroso

You enter a dark place which represents night or, better still, a rainy night, where we find some Moroso pieces which are familiar to us: little Albert, O-Nest, Supernatural, Osorom, Shiitake…

The entrance is at once spectacular and dramatic. It is the place where everything begins to spring to life. After the dark and rainy, yet seductive and mysterious, night comes the reassuring and clear day.

Rainwater is the lifeblood of our garden, you then catch a glimpse of a wild and lush vegetation and enter a landscape which is larger, more airy, throbbing and bright.

Along the way you can experience different emotions by choosing different directions and visions: the peace and calmness of the serene and romantic white garden, the powerful stimuli of the psychedelic and symmetrical garden or the vibrant energy of the colourful and revitalising garden.

An installation for the Moroso showroom, Salone del Mobile.....more

The Haworth Chicago Showroom is a sales office, conference facility and product showplace demonstrating the company's evolution to a solutions-driven resource for workspaces. The Chicago showroom is the first of many global Haworth showrooms designed by our Branded Environments team and is a leading example of sustainable design from social, environmental and economic perspectives.

Over a period of six consecutive years, we developed brand image, strategic positioning, market communications and environmental elements to support Haworth's platform of adaptable workspace, designed performance and global perspective. The design showcases the concept of "workspaces", demonstrating full integration of interior architectural systems including furniture, modular walls, raised flooring, ceilings, HVAC, lighting, sound, power, voice and data. Our design addressed performance through alternative concepts of "work" and "restore" (including elements such as the large reflecting pool) and utilized a clean aesthetic with high "green" performance. The Chicago showroom, an expression of Haworth's mission and a showcase for its solutions, marked the beginning of our lasting partnership with the company.
