In search of a new image and concept, the main idea was to find a style that is warm, classic, elegant without setting aside a modern and innovative, the idea and concept that was used for this store was the concept of a skein of yarn in which there are always lines that intertwine. Within this first property gave emphasis to which access is governed by a material change and this was creating a strip of wood and topped with a large wall to the center of the store lined with Venetian mosaic, two touches of unique material in space. On the sides seek a modulation according to the materials used.

Modulating floors and taking modules of 60 cm. It began to play with vertical and horizontal lines for achieving this intersection of lines within these intersections were created some gaps and spaces to enclose the furniture. It should be mentioned that the lines generated besides this modulation followed the pace until the ceiling to create an envelope in the space with these lines generated in an abstract way....more

The deliberate contrast old - new voices in an overall picture. In a medieval town house as a first step, the old space and facade forms were recovered, adjusted excesses of many conversions. Traces of history like pillars, vaults, columns from the Romanesque to the Baroque than refurbished items in the rooms to find and read again. By vitrification of the openings of the medieval courtyard flowing seamlessly into the store room. The new development adheres to the history of clear, simple and elegant back. Technique was to plan possible "hidden ". Reduction to a few materials: stainless steel, white painted surfaces, sand, stone floor and oak wood. Only a few spots of color-conscious. This subtly detailed showroom space, with its refined material palette and strong sense of proportion, is very well suited to the Bill Blass vision of tailored American classic-yet-modern clothing. The various degrees of translucency create a refuge of muted light that envelops the visitor in the showroom and makes the cacophony of Seventh Avenue a distant memory. Once in the showroom, the finishes and materials combine textures, transparency and reflectivity to contain, conceal and expand the sense of space in an ephemeral shell that provides a perfect foil for the clothing displayed within.....more

The Kookai concept stores in the Queen Victoria Building and Castle Towers in the heart of Sydney’s retail precinct are both a haven for fashion and a significant departure from other Kookai outlets around the country. These stores are designed to act as a cocoon. High, stretched ceilings and undulating walls wrap around the customers, defining the mood of the space while also forming the circulation paths tovarious clothing racks and changing rooms. Natural muted colours provide a serene background to the colourful clothes which reflect off the walls and remaining surfaces. ANTEPRIMA Osaka shop's condition of the place was considerably different from the Roppongi shop. It will access the shop from a longer and slender of the side. Maintaining the concept of Roppongi,the motif and the taste,it is considerable that create difference the space production. This bag was used as a visual image into line with the walls of the gradient.Born in the sticky wall brightness gradient effect on the space feel brighter around the entrance to the right counter.The filter is provided on the facade and fluffy as it will fog layers of stainless steel mesh.Somehow, you can see from outside the walls of the gradient the movement of people through the filter........more

The design objective for this building located in the business zone of Marbella is to reinforce the image and identity of the firm. The building consists of a single volume with punctures that emphasize the verticality of the building and employ a play of transparencies and illumination that draws attention to the shop window. The solid façade is finished in stone. The ground floor contains the customer service zone; the second holds the offices; the top floor is reserved for meeting spaces and more office space.....more

Retail Interior | Sugar Station Kiosks | Minifie van Schaik Architects

These compact stand alone kiosks render the city in miniature to present a population of back-lit self serve confectionary.
This kiosk, at Westfield's Southland retail centre, is 18m2 in area, consisting of four independently arranged joinery units allowing the shopping centre's circulation space to mix with that of the kiosk. The longest unit is an LED lit wall of acrylic self serve confectionary dispensers which are stacked like a miniature city. The expressed stainless steel kickers conceal drawers used for stock storage.

Each unit has a cavity concealing a sliding door which is extracted for purposes of lock up out of trading hours. The Sugar Station sign displays the “lolly” shaped letters of the logo with thousands of glowing Jelly Bellys on either edge....more
